Alexander Amen is a sports and lifestyle photographer based in Los Angeles and the greater Phoenix area. He is a rising sophomore studying Mass Communication and Media Studies at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. There, he works as a Student Creative Intern with Sun Devil Football.
Before joining Arizona State’s Sun Devil Football creative team, Alexander built his freelance photography career by covering high school, college, and professional sports across California. His work includes photographing NCAA football programs such as Cal Berkeley and USC, professional basketball with the LA Clippers, South Bay Lakers, and Valley Suns, Major League Soccer with the LA Galaxy and LAFC, and international competitions like the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup. He has also photographed athletes such as Russell Wilson, Jayden Daniels, Jordan Addison, Jared Verse, Jaxson Dart, Zachariah Branch, Dante Moore, and Makai Lemon through freelance assignments.
Today, Alexander continues to work as a freelance photographer while creating content for Arizona State Football and covering sports events for editorial outlets. His work focuses on telling real stories through photography, whether he is documenting in-game action, covering behind-the-scenes content, or creating visual content for athletes, brands, and organizations. He is available for freelance assignments throughout California, Arizona, and nationwide.
His images have been featured across professional sports organizations, collegiate athletic programs, and editorial media platforms.
