Alexander Amen is a sports and lifestyle photographer based part-time in Los Angeles and part-time in Phoenix. He focuses on telling authentic stories through photography, whether by capturing in-game action, documenting behind-the-scenes narratives, or creating visual content for athletes, brands, and organizations.
Alexander was raised in Los Angeles and is a sophomore studying Mass Communication and Media Studies at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication where he works as a Student Creative Intern with Sun Devil Football.

Before joining the Sun Devil Football creative team, Alexander shot numerous NCAA Division 1, professional, and high school sporting events across the western United States. As a high schooler, he photographed multiple Cal and USC college football games, the Hawaii Bowl, the Las Vegas Bowl, and three Shrine Bowls.
Alexander’s professional experience before joining ASU included the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup in Las Vegas, numerous Los Angeles Clippers and South Bay Lakers basketball games, and several Major League Soccer teams, including LA Galaxy, LAFC, Sporting Kansas City, and FC Dallas.
Since joining ASU, Alexander has freelanced for various national outlets, which has enabled him to continue photographing NBA, G-League, and MLS games, as well as special events like The Fanatics Flag Football Classic, the NFLPA Rookie Premier, Wrexham AFC v. Liverpool FC at Yankee Stadium, and Mexico vs. Australia at the Rose Bowl, both teams’ final match before the 2026 World Cup. Of note, Alexander shadowed the Las Vegas Raiders’ Senior Team Photographer at the team’s mini-camp in July 2026, which is detailed on Alexander’s LinkedIn page.
Additionally, Alexander has been contracted by multiple college and professional athletes, such as Russell Wilson, Jayden Daniels, Jordan Addison, Jared Verse, Jaxson Dart, Zachariah Branch, Dante Moore, and Makai Lemon.
